For those of us lucky enough to be accepted already, have you made a decision about where you are going and if so where? I am giving myself a few more weeks before turning in the deposit...

LWest, I've been accepted to three schools, but am still waiting to hear back from my favorite two schools, DMU and CCOM. I'm still interviewing at UNECOM in a week or so, but my visit there is going to have to be stellar to make it to the top. I REALLLLLLY hope at least DMU or CCOM accepts me (hopefully both 😀 ). I'm leaning a bit DMU, but I'd love either. I'll know for sure where I'm going by Nov. 1st, most likely.

What about you?

I don't know... Been accepted into AZCOM, NOVA, and LECOM=Br. I felt the most comfortable at LECOM-Br- love the PBL. However, NOVA and AZCOM are great schools with great reps. Giving myself a few weeks to think it over...

I recently came back from DMU and it shot straight to the top of my list. I've been accepted to AZCOM and was fairly excited about that. However, after seeing DMU's program and campus, man o man I hope I get into DMU. Even though it was 45F (i'm from CA) I had an amazing experience in Des Moines. It's a small city yet large enough to have the amenities i'm so accustomed to. So DMU, accept me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On another note, anyone interview at both Touro-MI and DMU and rate the two yet? I don't feel like interviewing at Touro cause i'm so tired of interviewing. Good luck to everyone who haven't seen any acceptances yet. Patience is a virtue.

Man...I agree with the last poster about being tired of the interview process. I've had 3 so far, and I still have 2 to go.

Fortunately, I've been accepted by PCOM. I found out on Friday the 13th, of all days, that I am definitely going to be a doctor. I am extremely happy. I was told by the students that if I had a big envelope that I could rejoice, but if a small envelope, then better luck next year. My envelope was small, so my heart sunk immediately when I saw it in the mailbox. Was I ever surprised when I saw that I was accepted for the class of 2007. All these years of hard work have finally payed off....I will now have 7 to 10 more years of hard work. YAY!!! 😉

I'm going to hold off on sending in my deposit, though. I have 2 more schools to interview at: TCOM in Dallas, and the University of Kentucky. (Yes, I applied to DO and MD schools) I just want to see what they have to offer. Who knows if I might be happier there. I'm also waiting to see what decision Jefferson Med College makes on my application & interview which took place this past week.

I'm keeping my options open, but at least I can be rest assured that I am going to work in the career I have dreamed of. YES!
