I would love to be a DO. I would love to be an MD.

Why are people so infuriated that certain people only want to be MDs? That's their choice, it doesn't have to be ours. We shouldn't be trying to convince anyone. Live and let live.

At least it prevents those guys from using DOs as supposed 'safety' schools and robbing those spots from the people who bust their tails off to get a pretty good MCAT and good GPA and would make great doctors.

that's what i've been wondering!!!!!! why do you CARE if someone doesn't want a spot that you want? isn't that......wait for it.......a good thing?

Gonna apply to both, I'd probably go in state D.O. over moving someplace i didnt want to for MD.

The doctoring life is hard work, I don't anticipate having a lot of free time for initial-based insecurity.

The reason why some of us do not find those women attractive is because they ooze sex and only sex..

If you asked me 3 years ago if I thought these girls were attractive, I probably would have said yes. But to be quite honest, at this point, unless I were looking purely for a one-night stand or something, I don't really find either of them all that "attractive." They just don't look like real people.

Intelligent conversation?!? When has that ever been factored into the scoring, I normally see it as a defect.

Anyway, I kinda wish there were thread MVPs so Eternal Rage could be awarded. Best DO-MD thread I've seen.

Does anyone of links to the commercials a bunch of students from KCUMB did YouTube vids in parody of the "Mac vs PC" commercials and said "I'm a DO. And I'm an MD." and proceeded to espouse how much better DOs are than MDs because they treat "people, not diseases."

I tried looking those up, but there were too many KCUMB youtube videos. Aren't these kids studying? Why are there so damn many youtube videos. I guess there is nothing else to do in kansas.

Haha, if there is any benefit to having to do a navy residency, it is that I will be in either San Diego, DC, or Virginia Beach, Mr. Grunt.

But you're right. Never say never. There are equally abysmal areas the Corps has set themselves up in.

If you are going into Uncle Sam's Yacht Club, I would definitely never say never.

As for you last, try and rotate or do something out of Tripler. It's an Army Hospital in Oahu, but Pearl Harbor and K-Bay (Marine Base) are right by it.
