Hi everyone -

It's just occurred to me that I'll be out of town for the Monday of residency match week for some important business.
Let's say I don't match (95% chance I will) - would I need to do SOAP under the supervision of my school? AFAIK my school doesn't explicitly require students be present on Monday of Match Week in case SOAP is needed.
The process seems fairly straightforward and like something I could do at home.
Do students need to be present at their schools to do SOAP?

Thanks.

Nope you can do everything for the SOAP from your home computer, possibly even from your phone if you can squint hard enough.

Your school might want to meet with you at least on the phone to discuss with you what your plans are and what programs you have targeted, etc.

My school offers in person help if you're in the area but otherwise they will talk on the phone to discuss a plan.
