This is pretty awesome. I mean, volunteers and child life specialists do great things, but they have to go home sometime. I have no idea what a system like this costs and since it’s in the R&D phase, it’s still probably relatively far off... but pretty awesome nonetheless.

Many children’s hospitals already do things like that via volunteers.


The next phase would be like what Disney is doing with Texas Children’s Hospital and other places. They have like interactive displays and faux windows and all sorts of cool stuff. I admit, I was totally jealous when I heard Texas Children's was getting this. I probably still would have left but this would have made it harder.
