Hi all,

Just wanted to quickly post, even though its late in the primaries season, that those who want to do a social science or humanities phd with their MD -- take a look at UCLA.
They haven't done a lot to publicize it, but they are very willing to work with you on these types of PhDs and want to expand the number of students they have that do it. (I am currently a student there!)

I know it's hard to find supportive programs, so just wanted to put that out there.

UIC, UF, and U of Chicago are also schools friendly to MD/PhD students in non-biology PhDs (humanities, social sciences, mathematics).

Sure, maybe the schools are supportive, but what about the other students? Any comment on that?
