As someone who recently completed a year-long DBT practicum, I agree with this.
In terms of SST, there are a lot of books/manuals devoted to specific clinical populations (schizophrenia, autism, NVLD etc). If you're currently a graduate student, you could check on what resources are available through your clinic/library system.
