To Silence Wikileaks, Hillary Clinton Proposed Drone Strike on Julian Assange?
E-mail leaked by WikiLeaks doesn't demonstrate that Hillary Clinton suggested assassinating founder Julian Assange via a drone strike.
execution is supposedly deterence, although there has never been adequate evidence to suggest that the death penalty really deters crime.Since we're still seeing radical Islamic terrorists trying to fly planes into buildings, I think they're looking for a deterrence.
This is worth a try I guess.
public execution is not deterence. it is a public display of State Authority.
i had thought humanity was better than this, and that the US was morally better, but...
it puts the US in the same category as Iran, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Afghanistan, Yemen, China.
When done to intimidate and reinforce state authority, it's in a public square, in your face. This is closer to public transparency. It's just TDS to think every thing this admin does is authoritarian.fwiw, may not be real.

You guys are saying you want the execution to happen but you don't want the public to be able to see it IF THEY CHOOSE.
i do not condone executions. i am morally opposed to this, but obviously it is not my choice.
and it is authoritarian. no other president has requested public execution.
the last public execution was in 1936 and guess what - public executions were stopped due to public outcry.
apparently, the majority of ciminologists do not believe public executions have any evidence at all for deterring crimes.
if it has to happen, it should not be live streamed for anyone to look at. and there will be people who do not want to see but end up being exposed to it because of the prevalence of social media. timothy mcveigh was executed and broadcast under CCTV for a select few people.

A few questions....
1) I am not going to pretend to know the facts about her alleged omissions on immigration paperwork but even if she is guilty the statute of limitations for that offense is 10 years. That would mean that the statute expired in 2010.
2) There is long standing precedent that unless the crime is egregious (like kidnapping, robbery, etc) that prosecutions are not done within 60 days of an election. She is running in 22 days.
Obviously a political stunt but I am sure that some of you condone this while complaining about the "prosecutions" of Trump.

100% this is Trump using DOJ to pursue his political enemies. Here is what Trump has said about Omar:
- "Ilhan Omar is garbage. She's garbage. Her friends are garbage."
- "I've always found her to be totally crooked personally... I think she's a terrible person, just a complainer."
- "She comes in from a country without laws, without police, without military, where all they do is shoot each other... And she comes into our country, and she says, 'I have a constitutional right.'"
- "She does nothing but bitch."
- "She comes from one of the worst countries anywhere on the planet."
- "Your country stinks and we don't want them in our country."
- "She's a disaster."
- "A despicable 'phony'."
- "She's a disgraceful, disgusting person."
- "She married her brother."
Take Ken Paxton, who has grown his assets from minimal to $10-20 million all while serving public office:
• Securities Fraud Indictment (2015–2024): Spent nearly a decade under felony indictment for soliciting tech investments without a license, ultimately resolved in 2024 through a plea deal requiring restitution and community service.
• Whistleblower Retaliation Settle (2020–2025): Fired top deputies who reported him to the FBI for abuse of office; a judge ruled he violated the Whistleblower Act, resulting in a $6.6 million state-funded settlement layout.
• FBI Bribery Investigation (2020–2024): Investigated by federal authorities for allegedly leveraging his office to assist real estate donor Nate Paul; the DOJ declined to pursue charges in 2024.
• Historic Impeachment (2023): Impeached by the Republican-led Texas House on 20 counts of bribery, obstruction, and abuse of public trust, though he was later acquitted by the Texas Senate.
• "Biblical Grounds" Divorce (2025): Sued for divorce by his wife, Texas State Senator Angela Paxton, citing marital infidelity and a high-profile extramarital affair with an employee linked to his donor network.
• Tax and Property Fraud Probe (2025): Subject to fresh investigations over undisclosed properties and alleged homestead exemption tax fraud.
• State Bar Misconduct Lawsuit (2022–2025): Sued by the State Bar of Texas for presenting fraudulent, false claims in an attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election; dismissed in 2025.
• Courthouse Pen Theft (2013): Caught on security footage pocketing an expensive Montblanc pen left behind by another lawyer at a courthouse security line.
• Filmed celebrating New Year's Eve in Dubai with an alleged girlfriend and two indicted healthcare fraud fugitives, one of whom (Anosh Ahmed) donated $190,000 to his campaign.
• Hoffman "Sweetheart" Deal (2026): Criticized by both parties for his office issuing a highly lenient plea deal to former Waco attorney Adam Dean Hoffman—who pleaded guilty to child sexual abuse—allowing him to serve less than 30 days in jail and avoid sex-offender registration.
One is is a white MAGA Trump supporter, the other wears a hijab and criticizes Trump.
The issue with the statute of limitations is that if she falsified her age at any time in the past 10 years, it resets the clock.A few questions....

As I understand it, the charge is that she claimed to be 17 when she was actually 18 in order to naturalize as a minor and since that time she had repeated the lie on every form.
Hence the raid, to look for documents with her fake age.
34 felonies ring a bell?A few questions....

Completely retaliatory.
But SHDD on the statute.
Did a judge sign off on search warrant here?

it is unclear who the actual judge was, but im sure it was someone who was heavily leaned on by the trump DOJ or someone who did a favor for another favor.
Certainly no democrat appointed judge whose daughter works on campaigns would ever do anything like that.it is unclear who the actual judge was, but im sure it was someone who was heavily leaned on by the trump DOJ or someone who did a favor for another favor.

i dont think anyone would complain about a legitimate investigation (well, anyone besides MAGA with respect to trump).
it had to be signed off by a judge.
its the timing that is the issue.
it is highly unusual for the DOJ to investigate a politician before an election. it happened really only once before - with Hilary Clinton, which most likely lead to the election of trump.
in effect, trump's DOJ is targeting one of his political opponents in an attempt to discredit her and influence the election in her opponents favor.

There's apparently no statue of limitations with this kind of immigration fraud. She could be denaturalized and deported...
if you are talking about Omar, then yes it began under Bidens term but stalled due to lack of evidence.
it has been the unspoken policy of the DOJ to not bring up any case 60 days prior to an election for those involved in an election.
unless it is to favor trump, apparently.
trump had what, 20 months to try to issue the subpoena.
why did he wait until less than 30 days before the election, eh?

If she falsified her asylum request, there's no SOL that will save her from getting denaturalized and deported.
You can give her a ride to the airport.

Do you think NEW evidence emerged that caused the Democrat judge to grant the search warrant?
i think it stalled because the nonpartisan DOJ at the time found insufficient evidence that she could be charged with a crime.
new evidence might have turned out, or it might have been fabricated. it apparently was enough to issue subpoenas to a judge. apparently the search was supposed to be very limited.
what is the issue is doing it within 60 days of the election, because that is a clear attempt to influence an election.
if she is guilty, she should be punished as appropriate for the severity of the crime.

north koreans - run by kim jong ii then kim jong un
chinese - run by mao then hu jintao and xi jinping
laotians - run by
each of these are totalitarian dictatorships run by 1-2 men with total power, not pure communist states.
(redundancy on purpose because some might not understand big words)
You do realize that, within our own country, anyone can go out and create a communist commune. Yes, they are free to do that! However, there is no communist or socialist country where you can do the opposite. Why? Because they utterly lack freedom? Why do they lack freedom? Because they require totalitarianism in order to remain socialist/communist. Why? Because there will always be people who want to get what they've worked for - what they deserve. But if they step out of line and actually strive for that, they find themselves staring down the barrel of a gun. That's how socialism and communism sustains itself. Until it doesn't.
Bravo!I speak Russian fluently. At the university level I have extensively studied Russia's history and of other communist countries, and I lived in Moscow for six months and traveled extensively in eastern europe. I understand communism better than any of you here.
Ignorance is why millennials accept socialism.
I'm a registered Independent, not a Republican. I've voted for democrats before including Obama's first term. Unfortunately, both parties, and the two party system are not good. I disagree with much of what Trump has done including tariffs, worsening relations with many countries, mistreatment of staff, gerrymandering, starting the Iran war without a proper exit strategy, and I think the SAVE act goes too far.
However, at the moment, only Trump and the Republican party support with meaningful action, the following. Please try to prove otherwise vs the what democrats have done in the past decade.
1-real control of the border including deporting criminals who are illegals, and limiting fundamentalist (muslim) terrorists from entering the country
2- parental rights, including limiting state interference and/or hiding information from parents.
3- Meritocracy in higher education and employment, including stopping the ridiculous spread of DEI
4- Utilizing our natural resources of oil and gas, both to improve the US economy and so we are not dependent on unscrupulous counties for anything. I will add that the most ridiculous actions I've seen taken by the UK and EU is to stop producing their own energy and then end up buying energy from other countries at higher prices, and the counties from which they purchase their energy typically pollute the air and environment much more than if the western countries produced that energy themselves.
5-Cut jobs and waste in the US government. Not perfect to be sure, but much more of that has occurred in the last 2 years than in all of Biden's presidency
6- Protect biologic women from mentally ill men who want to compete in women's sports and spend time in women's restrooms and showers.
7- Protect children from doing irreversible harm to themselves via surgery, hormones, etc, at ages when a child cannot consent, and cannot understand.
8- Decrease regulation stifling business, home builders, and innovation in America.
9- Decrease government waste by requiring able bodied people who receive free federal healthcare, (medicaid) to work.
10-Protecting democratic elections by requiring government photo ID. (if you have to show ID at your doctor, airport, to buy beer, you can show it at the ballot box).
.
Wow, this is low. Don't use Christ to win your mundane arguments. Historical context: These texts weren’t written about modern nation-states, borders, or welfare programs. Zechariah 7 addressed the personal conduct of a small post-exilic Jewish community, Matthew 25 is Jesus teaching followers about personal mercy, and the Torah’s provisions for the poor and foreigner (gleaning, tithes, hospitality) were duties on individuals and households. One thing that you will notice is that a lot of what this administration does is get us to divide our selves and alienate and disparage those that are traditionally marginalized or in the shadows. People like trans-folks, black folks, undocumented folks, disabled and homeless folks, etc. We should not be taking the lead from an administration and leader that claims to be Christian. Take lead from Christ himself. Let that govern your actions.
Zechariah 7: says "Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor."
Matthew 25 says "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
Also
The 82nd Psalm says "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed."
It's amazing how some people can be deluded to villify someone who has accomplished this:For someone supposedly “independent”, you sure know all the Fox talking points.
“stopping the ridiculous spread of DEI”
Entire Trump administration is nothing but a DEI for a certain demographic. I wouldn’t trust Pete Hegseth to mow my lawn properly, much less being in charge of the military.
“Utilizing our natural resources of oil and gas.”
U.S. crude oil production reached all-time record highs under President Joe Biden.
“Cut jobs and waste in the US government.”
Yeah I am not really sure how gutting NIH, NASA, IRS, National Park Services, CDC and several other revered institutions help serve Americans?
“Protecting democratic elections by requiring government photo ID”
Except republicans want to take it much further. They want people to show the proof of citizenship ie. passport which 50% of Americans don’t even have, to vote. And this claimed “voter fraud” conspiracy has been studied to death. Our elections are as secure as they can be, and this “fraud” has no impact on the election outcome. Example? President has repeatedly claimed that GA 2020 was stolen. All the ballots have been recounted three times (including by independent auditors) under republican state of secretary, and everytime Biden came out as the winner. Yet, this president refuses to believe any of that.
And what about Epstein files? And the blatant corruption? Don Jr’s wedding was paid for by Russian oligarch with ties to Putin; did you ever wonder why US under Trump completely gave up on Ukraine?? What about masked agents murdering US citizens? I wonder why your “independent” brain doesn’t question any of this?
Only good thing this administration has done is to secure the southern border. I don’t agree with progressive policies on transgender (particularly biological men playing women’s sports), but that issue impacts like 0.01% of the population. I think republicans have overplayed their hand with cultural wars, and now no one seems to care for it.
If there is a rise in socialism, that’s because MAGA has gone so far right, that they can’t even see a center with the telescope. Pendulum swing in other direction is inevitable.
- Overdose deaths are down to roughly 68,000 a year, about 12% lower than the year before and well below the 110,000+ peak in 2023.
- Illegal border crossings are down about 95% from the Biden-era average, and the border has been under 9,000 arrests a month for well over a year.
- Catch-and-release is over. Border Patrol has paroled zero illegal crossers into the country for more than a year.
- The murder rate is the lowest ever recorded by the FBI, tied with the mid-1950s.
- Violent crime had its biggest one-year drop since national tracking began in 1936.
- Prescription drug prices are falling for the first time in years, down about 3% year over year, the steepest drop in over 60 years.
- 26 drugmakers, covering about 90% of the branded market, signed deals to match the lowest prices paid in other developed countries.
- Every state Medicaid program now gets those lower prices, worth an estimated $65 billion over 10 years.
- TrumpRx has saved patients hundreds of millions of dollars, and GLP-1 weight-loss drugs that cost over $1,000 a month now start at $149.
- TSMC’s Arizona fab is in volume production, and the company’s total U.S. investment is now around $165B.
- Intel, Samsung and Micron are all building leading-edge fabs here, so the U.S. is going from importing chips to making them.
- The Pentagon made fixed-price contracts the default and is reviewing its biggest cost-plus holdouts.
- Multiyear munitions deals are getting defense contractors to invest their own money in factories. Tomahawk deliveries tripled in the first half of 2026.
- Pentagon deals will quadruple Precision Strike Missile production, triple PAC-3 seeker production, and bring in newer suppliers beyond the big primes.
- Military recruiting is strong, with every branch hitting its goal, some months early.
- All the living hostages came home after the Gaza ceasefire.
- NATO allies committed to 5% of GDP on defense, up from 2%.
Yep, he had a spike. One. Biden had a... mesa? And he decreased the border crossings just in time for the election... after 4 years of Gallup polling demonstrated before Dems and Reps overwhelmingly felt securing the border was a matter of national emergency. We were told we needed "immigration reform." Turns out that was a lie. We just needed a new president.![]()
Here is another one showing the spike of crossings during Trump 1 and a massive decline during Biden's last year.
A new president that decided to torpedo a bipartisan immigration bill simply for his own political gain.Yep, he had a spike. One. Biden had a... mesa? And he decreased the border crossings just in time for the election... after 4 years of Gallup polling demonstrated before Dems and Reps overwhelmingly felt securing the border was a matter of national emergency. We were told we needed "immigration reform." Turns out that was a lie. We just needed a new president.
One of these days you and others like you will realize that Trump doesn't give a damn about the border and definitely doesn't give a damn about you. He is only interested in enriching himself and staying out of jail. That's it. Biggest brainwashing operation in the history of man.
There is nothing low about using the Bible to guide your personal conduct and way of life..
The texts suggest that you should treat your fellow man with respect. I know that this is antithetical to the current Trump/Republican platform but this should not be controversial. What it should do is make you see that they have lost their way.
As said in one of my favorite movies, "who is more foolish, the fool or the fool that follows him"
It's pretty hilarious that libs are actually trying to take credit for the immigration crackdown.Yep, he had a spike.
Don't get used to it though, as soon as they can, they'll open the border right up again and demonize the border as "racist".
Look at the graph again. It just shows that the border crossing decreased most dramatics in early 2024 before Trump was in office. You may not like what it says but that is what it says. It's pretty hilarious that libs are actually trying to take credit for the immigration crackdown.
Don't get used to it though, as soon as they can, they'll open the border right up again and demonize the border as "racist".
I also pose the question that if Trump really cared about the border so much why did he single handedly torpedo bipartisan legislation in Biden's term.
The answer is he doesn't care. You were duped.

How can some of these “doctors” be so fickle minded?
It was Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act that allowed Medicare to negotiate prescription prices.

Violent crime has been falling for years now. It’s a culmination of several factors, including advancement in law enforcement technology.
Question to right wingers: do you guys ever question anything that you hear on Sean Hannity?

I just want to hear from the right wingers thoughts on Trumps recent executive order. Attempting to overrule the Senate 86-11 vote on Russian sanctions.
Russia first (Putin says big thanks to Trump/MAGA)
Israel first (Iran war)
Definitely Trump and his family and billionaire friends first.
Everyone else in America .................last.
A lot of this is either false, misleading, and or has nothing to do with Trump. Even if you give credit for all of this. the negatives from this administration greatly outweigh the positives. It's amazing how some people can be deluded to villify someone who has accomplished this:

- Military recruiting is strong, with every branch hitting its gA oal, some months early.
- All the living hostages came home after the Gaza ceasefire.
- NATO allies committed to 5% of GDP on defense, up from 2%.
Just today in two years the deficit has gone from 36 trillion to almost 40 trillion (under Trump)
Biden's accomplishments greatly outweigh Trump (given that Trump does have two more years.
Just a few off the top of my head...
1) CHIPS act boosted domestic semiconductor manufacturaing
2) Inflation Reduction Act combatted climate change.
3) 15-20 million jobs added
4) Capped out of pocket prescription drugs like insulin for senior
5) Gun safety legislation that was bipartisan (forgot the name of it)
6) Strengthened NATO and brought in Sweden and Finland
7) Helped bring together international coalition to support Ukraine.
Proabably a lot more if I do a google search...
Prediction....Republican congressman, senators, and governors are going to get slaughtered in the midterms.
My prediction:
Dems hold NH, Minnesota, and Michigan (but Michigan with El Sayed is by a very slim margin)
Ossoff beats Mike Collins by a mile (Georgia)
North Carolina is flipped blue pretty easily by Copper
Brown edges Husted in Ohio and Vivek also loses governor's race flipping Ohio blue
Talorico beats Paxton and Hinojosa edges Abbott for governor flipping Texas blue
Susan Collins (the magician) has her magic end in Maine flipping Maine blue.
Peltola wins Alaska over Sullivan flipping Alaska blue
Turek wins over Hinson in Iowa flipping Iowa blue
This is highly likely and makes it 53-47. Closest one is Texas and Iowa but it would still be 51-49 if the Republicans won both..
Republicans are going to have to sweat that it isnt worse then this
They have to hope that Darlene Graham doesn't lose to pediatrician Andrews and that Independent Osborn doesn't knock off Ricketts in Nebraska and that Hamilton doesn't upset Marshall as Kansas farmers push him over the top. Kansas is a red state for sure but it has been trending less red for awhile.
I don't predict that any of these things happen but they could. The one who is most at risk is Darlene Graham. She really could lose in SC. It is a longshot but 55-45 is not outside of the realm of possibility. There would be only one person to blame for this and I dont have to mention his name.

I agree overall. But I am bit pessimistic about Iowa and Maine. Turek doesn’t have a name ID, and lot of Iowans don’t know him that well, unlike Ashley Hinson who has been in Iowa politics for a long time. It will be a nail-biter for sure, but I expect Hinson to get to the finish line by a point or two.
Susan Collins has a plot armor. Lol don’t know how else to put it. Jackson doesn’t have a charisma of Platner; he isn’t the guy who would inspire thousands of volunteers to door-knock. He did a pretty good job during the debates I must say. I wouldn’t be surprised with either outcome. We will see.
I am actually more bullish on Kansas. Hamilton is exceptionally strong candidate, while Marshall is up there with Ken Paxton. I don’t know. I just have a gut feeling that something is brewing over there. May be it’s just a pure hopium.
We need a Fetterman-proof majority, so 52 seats. So, Dems can block Alito/ Thomas replacement. If not, then at least one of them retires in 2027, and be replaced by a 22 year old Heritage Foundation intern. So, this 52 figure is critical.
And looking from 2028 perspective, if Keisha Lance Bottoms in Georgia wins governorship, then Ossoff can launch his presidential bid. Otherwise, there be a lot of pressure for him not to, because you don’t want a republican governor to appoint his replacement.
If someone had told me two years ago that places like Texas, Alaska and Ohio will be in play for the senate in 2026, I would have laughed on their face! Just shows how atrocious this presidency has been.

Yes Hamilton is a very good candidate. Pastor of very large church. He has been saying the right things and the farmers are really suffering. Marshall just endorses Trump. Really bad debates. Booed mercilessly. We will see.
Collins has 9 lives for sure and usually defies logic and polls but this year does seem different.
Agree Hinson/Turek is close but Turek is trending up.
Darlene Graham is the other one under pressure.
Also agree that 52 is important. 51 give Fetterman enormous power. 52 diminishes him.
For 52 Dems likely wins would be NC, Maine, Texas, Ohio, Alaska
Kansas , Iowa, SC are also in play.
If Dems get 53-55 Senate seats, Vance has to see that as a complete catastrophe concerning his 2028 run. This sounds crazy but if I am Vance, I read the tea leaves. I try to get a dozen or so GOPs to join the Dems and impeach Trump with actual removal. That would give Vance a year or more to show his style and success which could carry him in 2028 if he does well. He would have a very low bar to cross.
You might say the MAGA would never forgive Vance for being part of removing their cult leader. If the last few years have shown us anything, it is the MAGA is the easiest group of people to manipulate so this would likely be the least of his worries.
