Hi all,

Which courses can substitute for sociology prerequisite for Michigan? Can history do? Possibly anthropology will do I think. I sent email to them about this several days ago, but have not gotten any reply. If you know, please help!

Thanks,

Has to be Sociology... Definitely not any History classes...

You must have a SOC prefix for any Sociology pre-requisite. According to Tracy at UMICH. It doesn't matter whether it is Introduction to Sociology or something a little more in depth. But I say, If you got to take a Sociology pre-req, you may as well take something interesting. I took Medical Sociology... It was pretty good.
