I'm a nontrad, attempting to transition from software engineer to doctor.

Before my application consumed all my excess energy, I channeled it into creating a cross platform note taking application. Several hundred hours of effort. Not the best, but certainly not bad for a single person. It doesn't have any users, nor did I ever really intend to get any, as it was hobby project.

If you had nothing else to write about, would you list this project as an extracurricular?

I think it would be fine to include even if you do have other Hobbies or Extracurricular activities to mention.
