Hi all,
I am trying to dissolve prazosin to use as an eye drop in my research. It turns out that prazosin has a very low solubility in water, but a very decent one in organic solvents like DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide). The bad thing about DMSO, however, is that it causes the cornea to turn white. Is there a solvent that is very mild to the cornea and would dissolve hydrophobic substances well? Thanks a lot!
