This may be a silly question, but do LORs need to be individually addressed to the specific school? Should the greeting line be left blank?? Are you color copying the letters at a copy center? Or are you having the profs print off many copies for the schools? I attend a small undergraduate institution and we do not have committees. Thanks for the info!

If you're asking if each letter needs to have school specific content, then the answer would be no. Just generic.

I think schools frown on letters that the applicant has not relinquished rights to see -- so you shouldn't be involved with the copying yourself. Agree with other posters that you don't need letters addressed individually to each school and that they can be assembled into a packet and copied -- you should look into interfolio or other similar dossier services to do this. Unless the school is brand new, you can't possibly be the first person from that college applying to med school, so you should see what prior applicants from there have done.
