I don't know what normal people do or see while shadowing, but ive been shadowing a pediatric emergency room doc, resident and senior med student for the last 2 days. Its been awesome really enjoyed it and I saw some weird stuff. The attending md was foreign so it gave it a twist.. I even got to see some minor surgery... share your experiences

I've mostly only seen surgery - some gyno surgeries, a total knee replacement, arthroscopic knee cartilage work, laparascopic GB removal, hernia repairs, major abdominal surgeries, etc.

I've also shadowed in the ER.
