Ok. My pic is gone for LOA.

And I am not quite familiar with all the ordering system. And my inventory specialist is also gone for 3 weeks with workers comp.

So bear with me.

1. We get wh order on tuesday.
What does "poll day" mean? What do I need to do on poll day? If we get warehouse order on tuesday, when is my poll day?

2. Mckesson order.
We do mckesson order sun-thurs. is it right?
With RF gun around 6:30pm. Check shelf and update BOH, Then login mckesson & and the lists should be already there..right? (Or wrong? Not sure) then I add some more from qi then order. Am i right?

3. For test strip order, is it done with mckesson? Or special order (callingby 3pm)?

Thank you in advance.
Oh. And in pt's profile, how do u put comment? (Small litttle white box on bottom side of screen)

1. Ask your store manager. They can print out your upcoming poll days. On those days you need to use the RF gun to adjust the order quantity of everything that comes from CVS' warehouse before 3pm (including supplies). Your automatically generated order will print with the previous day's reports, so you can use that as a reminder that it needs to happen and a guide as to what needs to be adjusted.
2. My region uses Cardinal, but that sounds about right.
3. You need to call the special phone line at corporate to order test strips, or order them on poll day.
4. It's an option on the page where you can change someone's allergies, but I haven't worked in a few weeks, so the exact command escapes me. I think it's listed as "comments", so maybe "C"?

Thank you, zelman.
So on poll day, how do you adjust the order qty? It is like cycle count?

Your rxm didn't show you this before leaving? Also, ordering sounds like too much work at cvs.

My rxm had to go loa due to family emergency. Had no time to show before leaving. Usually inventory speciaist does it but she is gone due to workers comp

Same idea. But in a different function under AIM. Item review, maybe?

also which day do u do OO/S scan ?

also which day do u do OO/S scan ?
I believe it is that day after you receive the warehouse order, and the day after OOS scan is the order day, like said above you can adjust order quantities under item review

Sorry for the quality- had to reduce the file size to upload.

Think about it. The OOS scan is where you tell the system all of the drugs you are completely oos on. The best day to do that is the day before you order/poll.

No. The best day to tell the computer which drugs are out of stock is the day the most drugs will be out of stock. That's the day before your delivery.

Lol. CVS does such a bad job training that people get more info on public boards.

I am going with Old Timer on this, as with nearly everything CVS related. 15+ years with the company I believe.

We don't have these kinds of problems at Walgreens, they are trained properly.
