Do y'all think this is too much for next year, total of 15 hours:

Organic Chemistry 1: 3 hours
General Chemistry lab: 5 hours a week, but 2 hours credit
Genetics: 3 hours
Calculus: 4 hours
English Composition: 3 hours

I'll probably have a 4.0 after freshman year so I'm pretty good at school, but this next semester will be a step up for sure. Do you all think its too much?

I think a lot of this depends on your school itself (how difficult/time consuming are these classes at your school?) as well as if you're doing anything else (research, lots of ECs). If you are doing research (like 15-20 hours/week) then yes, maybe it would be too much but if you feel confident in your academics and aren't too bogged down with lots of other things, then go for it. You could always go for it and then drop a class if it becomes too much (Although do drop early or else it could affect the rest of your classes)

The biggest factors in this decision truly are personal ones. Like the poster above said, if you are doing lots of EC's, research, etc. that could play a role. If for some reason, you just have a crazy hard time grasping O-chem or maybe it comes very easily to you. From a very general point of view, I would say that this looks perfectly fine for you.. There's no reason to believe that you can't succeed with this.

Chem lab wont take 5 hours. People always exaggerate the hours(myself included). If you don't have too many ECs/research you'll be okay

That's schedule is fine. I did the same but took a computer science course as well. Lab length really depends on if you take quantitative analysis lab, which i did so it took like 6 hours
