Spec Review help!!

Does anybody have any resources on NMR, IR, and Mass spec that they swear by, besides chads? I.e. some good videos on YouTube? Maybe a PDF? I've been great with mechanisms, but I can't get a firm grasp on this. Ive watched khan, and they're good with IR, but I can't seem to put together all three spec methods to make one molecular structure consistently.

there is a video on DAT bootcamp that explains NMR splitting and it helped me fully understand NMR.

as for IR spec, that chart on chads orgo note guide are all you really need to know. just memorize the basic peaks for carbonyl, alcohol etc.

for mass spec, i never really covered it in my studying. i think i had 1 or 2 practice questions concerning it. and it was on none of my practice exams.

Awesome thank you! This is mainly for my ochem test here in a few days, not for the DAT yet! I'm assuming these aren't available unless I purchase boot camp/chads?

you would be correct. i would recommend using youtube to find some help. NMR/IR wasn't covered when i took Ochem but i found it pretty easy to grasp using chads videos.

Thank you! I think I just need to practice more and more and hopefully I'll get used to it. I'm not liking this analytical part of ochem as of now lol.

Sorry to hijack this post-- I know you mentioned that getting the molecular structure from NMR/IR/Mass Spec was for your OChem test, but is it on the DAT?
We did a lab on this in gen Chem a couple weeks ago so I'm just curious..

NMR/IR spec yes. mass spec? i didnt see it on my dat nor did i study for it. so probably not. i dont remember anything on it in chads videos or dat destroyer
