I'm about to finish the courses required for my biology major but I'm just entering my junior year. Not sure if should do more than a major. Specialize in biology, maybe an additional major in psychology, or maybe stick with one major and take a bunch of electives...not too sure yet. Definitely need to boost my gpa though.

I know getting a degree with one major would do just fine, but I've also heard that some higher level courses could possibly be easier. So, if I take higher level courses, maybe specializing would be fine. I'm not really too sure.

This is for anyone who can suggest a path to take for undergrad to have the best chance of getting accepted into dental school. Which path are you planning/did you do for your undergrad?

I don't think it matters much. Do whatever appeals to you so it is easier for you to be motivated to get good grades.

BTW: congrats on your first post!

Im running into that same situation next year and Im gonna take the MINOR route in accounting...IMO, I think that you should either finish your degree or MINOR in something that will help you run your practice in the future. No not sculpture or painting or none of that crap that the school wants to you enhance your manual dexterity but something like finance or accounting, something business like that will help you be successful in private practice. Being the best clinical dentist is great and all but the well balanced, business minded dentist will stay in employed MUCH MUCH LONGER!!!:meanie:
