so assume that you graduate dental school with poor/average grades and rank in the middle of your class. Then you take your national boards and you pass with an average score. Regardless whether you tried and these are the best scores you can get or did not have any intentions of specializing and was just trying to pass.....so after you graduate you practice general dentistry and u decide that you want to go back to specialize. DO you have a chance at all at that point or are your chances very slim because of your average scores?
