Speech Class count for english requirement?

I was wondering if speech would count for the english requirement. I already have taken one comp class and was wondering if I need to add another.

I'm pretty sure you need a formal english class.... they are blow-offs anyway, just take it ( you made need 2 semesters depending on the school). Also, most schools require a degree and I believe to get almost any degree you need 2 semesters of english. Suck it up and just take them back to back and be done with it. Best of luck

Im currently working on two majors and I only had to take one english class and a speech class. I guess Ill email the schools and if not Ill take some 100 level english class
