speech class for western and usc

hey guys, for those of you who applied to USC, did you guys have to take interpersonal speech and then another speech class for other pharmacy schools??

For USC I had to take interpersonal communications (CMN 3 at my school), then for every other school in CA I took Intro to Public Speaking (CMN 1 at my school).

i also just found out i have to take calculus over, because some schools wont accept my AP credit for it. acK.

Yeah.. I would be breezing through my senior year of college if it weren't for the lousy prereqs. I still have to take Anatomy (for Western), Anatomy lab (for Western), Physiology lab (for Western, USC) and a computer class (for Loma Linda). Doesn't seem that bad but I still have my major requirements to think of 🙄 ... ah such is the life of a pre-pharm I guess.

hrmm.. i just read it actually and it said you don't have to take the comp class if you can display proficiency on simple computer tasks.. 🙂

I might just take it anyway to boost up my GPA, i hear its easy.

What school do you go to? It depends on your school, I have a list of 5 comp classes I can take at my university that will fulfill the requirement, you should check out your school's health science advising center and see if they list the course equivalencies for each school.

I go to UC Irvine.. I think I'm going to have to call Loma Linda about that requirement lol.. i didn't realize there was any comp requirements. and i havent taken any comp classes at college either..

I went to UCI too. if you're really worried about taking a class that will fulfill this, it sounds like Social Science 3A would cover it but i'm not sure.

ALSO, i just found out (thanks to you guys) that I have to take another speech class for USC b/c my other speech class doesn't count. ARG!!! it's so frustrating trying to fulfill every school's requirements.
