Medical Speeding Ticket

Hi, I just received a speeding ticket (not reckless driving). I’ve already been accepted and committed to enrolling at my dream medical school. Do I need to inform them of this ticket? Will it affect me in any way? Thank you for the help.

The only reason this would matter is if the state for some reason has one of those laws about a certain speed limit over being a misdemeanor, and you were charged as such.
