spleen

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
i am convinced that spleen houses lymphocytes but thats what i found in decks:
spleen does not house lymphocytes but it houses erythrocytes

so wanted to make sure if i was right ..
if any one think that decks is right please share ...

i have grown to use wiki as reference and use their links at the bottom:

this is what wikipedia has:

Cross sections of the spleen reveal a red soft surface which is divided into two types of pulp which correspond to the two most important functional roles of the spleen, summarized below:[2]
AreaCompositionFunctionred pulp* "sinuses" (or "sinusoids") which are filled with blood
* "splenic cords" of reticular fibers
* "marginal zone" bordering on white pulpMechanical filtration. Removes unwanted materials from the blood, including senescent red blood cells.white pulpComposed of nodules, called Malpighian corpuscles. These are composed of:
* "lymphoid follicles" (or "follicles"), rich in B-lymphocytes
* "periarteriolar lymphoid sheaths" (PALS), rich in T-lymphocytesHelps fight infections.

so i believe you are correct and dental decks are incorrect.

This question confused me too but if you look at the other options given in that question, this answer sounded the most appropriate one. Any comments.?

well the correct answer for the question is that it does not change undifferentiated lymphocytes into T lymphocytes
