Does anyone have an excel spreadsheet built where you can plug in costs and compare schools side by side? I thought there was something like that on here but I haven't been able to dig anything out of the forums.

Thanks Seahawk, I never did download that excel sheet.

I think there is another one that the OP is referring to that some accountant pre-dental whiz put together, but I think it was from last application cycle.

Thanks guys, that link above was what I was looking for. I am going to build a spreadsheet to compare side-by-side costs of attendance. I'll post a copy of it when I am done. It's my way to avoiding studying for my Micro test on Wed.

So the spreadsheet I am referring to is set up to enter in the cost of attendance over time (the four years) and it calculates a variety of things (like the big one: student loan payment before and/or after consolidation). I'm simplifying it, it really is a good tool.

Again, I am not the creator of this, this was posted last app cycle from someone that is very smart in the way of excel and generous with his/her time. I don't know much about the different formats, so it is what it is.
