SRTA/ADEX and NBDE Part2

So I'm a rising 4th year and will be taking SRTA at the of next year. I also have to take Part2 at some point. I hear the ADEX and Part2 exams have similar topics. Does anyone know when you typically take the ADEX exam? And if it is in January like the SRTA exam has been in the past, would it be wise to wait until Dec. to take part2 and then the ADEX in Jan? My other option is to take part2 this summer and then worry about ADEX whenever that may happen. Any thoughts??
