The expansion of NICU and wards (no increase in number of residency spots yet)- there is a whole new building coming up- projected to be completed by 2017. Second change is their plan for changing the EMR sometime next year (to Epic), so as an incoming resident you would be proficient in two EMRs- seeing the brighter side of things. I understand these changes are for the better, but I'm not sure how it would affect the incoming class.
Looking forward to responses comparing the pediatric programs between Case Western and WashU.
