Has anyone interviewed at SLR? How was it? Was there are dinner the night before? What time did the day start?

I'm interviewing there in a couple of weeks and want some input. I just realized yesterday that Ms. Earle never sent me any information about the interview day (other than my date. 🙄 ). Since I know that it will probably take a couple of days to contact her ( 🙄 )I was hoping that someone could help me out.

Hi.

I e-mailed her last night and she actually responded this AM. 👍

I'm interviewing on 1/3. Interview day starts at 9:30 am at the Roosevelt Hospital site @ 1000 10th Ave. The Anesthesia office is on the 5th floor, Room 5-C03.

I don't know if this info is the same for other dates (although, I suspect that it is).

I didn't see anything an the e-mail about dinner or how the day will be structured.

I would contact her since she seems to be answering e-mails pretty quickly right now. [email protected]

I am aware of many instances of bad organizational skills (namely poor communication). I know one guy who got offered an interview there who had to page the coordinator on the hospital paging system to get her on the phone (after numerous emails and voice messages with no response). I sincerely hope this is not reflective of how they treat their residents in general.

Also, aside from the fact that this is a great program for regional, I've also heard it is scut central.

I interviewed there earlier and had a good experience. I was very impressed with the faculty that I met and the happiness level of the residents that I met. It is a very nice hospital in a great part of the city.
