I was reading through the profiles on the SDN interview feedback website and saw that a lot of people wrote "standard" in the interview questions asked section. What specifically are "standard" interview questions? Can we compile a list of questions that are considered "standard"?

Why do you want to be a doctor?

"standard" questions seem to vary ... depending on whether the interview is open or closed file.

What is the biggest problem in healthcare today?

What are the advantages / disadvantages of being a physician?

How do you handle crises?

Why do you want to go to this school?

What type of medicine are you interested in, and why?

What do you do in your leisure time?

Funny, I made sure I had some idea of how to answer all of these and more but was asked none of them. I had random questions about my childhood!
