what is the standard state of non-metals? (is Br the only liquid?)

Under standard conditions:

H, F, O, N, Cl and the noble gases are gases.

Br is liquid (so is Hg, which is a transition metal but worth mentioning because only these two are liquids at standard conditions)

Everything else is a solid.

Yes,,,,, Br2 is a liquid in the standard state.....H2,.F2, Cl2, O2, N2, and Group 18 are gases,,,,,,,,the rest are solids.

Hope this helps
