I was accepted to Stanford, and it was one of my top choices BECAUSE of their awesome clinical training. So yes, if you have the chance to go there, you will be very well prepared for residency.
Lots of clinical ops in M1 and M2, as I remember, and the Arbor Free Clinic is very much run by med students, as I was told.
One thing I didn't like was that Stanford's hospital is a tertiary care center, so you have to go to other places for some of your clinicals (ie: you need a car, basically). Anyone else have thoughts on it?
