Anyone been recently invited for a Stanford interview? I have been complete a couple months and no word. I just wondered if anyone has heard recently.

Some people already got accepted. There's a thread on it, just do a search.
I've been complete for about 3 months. No word yet.

I know people have been accepted. I saw the thread. I was just wondering if there have been any recent interview invites.

my file was complete on august 18th. hadn't heard anything until yesterday...no interview for me 🙁

How did you find out your were rejected? Snail or by email?

the dreaded thin envelope.

you guys might want to call just to make sure they haven't contacted you recently. I got an e-mail last week saying that they have been waiting several weeks for my reply to their interview requestion. Obviously, it was lost in the mail, so I get to interview there late.

I've been complete since August and not a word from them. I am thinking of giving them a call on Monday to see what's going on, if anything.

I've been complete since late August as well... Do both rejection and interview invite letters come in thin envelopes? Also, didn't Pikayou get his invite via email? Why the hell do they email some people and snail mail others? God... I can't handle this waiting much longer... 😡

I got a stanford interview via email, then by snail mail a few days later.

So basically if you get an envelope before the email, you are done for!

I'm in the same boat...complete since 9/8 and still no word. This is also the case for 2 other schools (Tufts and Cornell). I dunno...I think 3 months without ANY word is a little ridiculous. At least they should send us a postcard or email saying "your file is still under review" or something like that. It's the not knowing that kills me.

Cornell hasn't contacted me (I did double check with that school after the lost snail mail deal with Stanford) in 3 months either.

Luckily, I'm pretty sure Cornell is a non-rolling school, and I know their interview season lasts into March.

yeah, i haven't heard from cornell in the longest while. and when i called them up, they'll just tell me my file is complete

it sucks becuase that's my top choice

I have been complete since 8/19 and still on word. Does anyone know if they have started sending out rejections yet?
