Starting AMCAS Early

Hey!
Does anyone know if I can start the AMCAS for this Spring 2020, even though it's obviously not open yet? Does the application information roll over even if I am not going to submit it? I want to start it early since I already know i'll be busy around the time the application opens.

U can't cuz the amcas app available right now is for the current cycle.

I used this to start my activity section before AMCAS opened last year

You can always start pre-writing, but as stated AMCAS wont open till beginning of May. Once AMCAS opens you still have a month to enter everything before your primary is transmitted to schools. This is plenty of time to enter anything you've pre-written and check over everything for the millionth time.

This is plenty of time to enter anything you've pre-written and check over everything for the millionth time.

You can put off submitting until July but the early birds submit on Day 1 which is in late May or early June.
