Hey so my name is Jordan and I am starting my freshman year of college. I went to a high school for dual enrollment of high school/dental assisting. While doing clinicals I got offered a job at a pediatric dental office and have been working there all summer and plan on continuing for the next couple years. I do some part time and some full time they are pretty lenient. I got a scholarship at our state college - not a university but not community either. It's a full ride for 4 years 2 years I have to do there and then I can do 2 at any college here in Florida. So my question is what classes should I take here in order to be considering dental school. I know they like to see the 4 year universities. I need some advice on the next 4 years 🙂 I also chose biology as a major.

Youre on the right track brah

Look up the dental schools you would like to attend and check out the pre-reqs

Bio, Chem, Physics are a good start!

You will get most, if not all, of the pre reqs through the biology major.

Look at what dental schools you plan to apply to and see if they have any weird prereqs that aren't in the major.

Yeah I am just trying to decide what to take my first two years since its not a university. :S
