Hi all,
I think this board is a tremendous resource and have been browsing around for a little while. I have what you might call a non science background (BSEE & MSEE) and I am really interested in dentistry and looking to apply for the Fall 2005 program (seems so far away).
I know I need to complete a whole bunch of requirements before I even go ahead and apply to dental school. So my question is this:
I work at a college in northern NJ which offers all the science courses required but does not have a post bacc program. But Rutgers-Newark has a post bacc program. So the choices I have at this point are:
1) Go to Rutgers and pay the full tuition and get all the benfits that come with their post-bacc program.
2) Take the courses at my school for essentially free but without the benefit of the post-bacc program.
3) Or do a combination of the two.
So essentially, what I want to know is how important the post-bacc program is for a candidate like me?? Thnx.
