Hello

I used to attend one of the UC school (Bioengineering) but dropped out after a major depression strike. While i was attending i was able to manage 2.9 gpa in both science and pre-pharm prereq. Recently I applied to a community college to start over and retake classes after taking a year break.

I know that once i restart, I will do better but the transcript from previous school may look bad; I had plenty of W's and F's(fortunately, mostly received them from non-prerequisite courses). But what i am most concerned is that 4-year institute may decline my transfer to their pre-pharm program due to my bad record.

Will i be able to appeal to them with improved grade in community college? Do any of you have experience with bad-grade from a previous institution?
