Hey guys, I have been studying for about about 6 weeks now using the nymeria 100 day study plan which includes mostly TBR review books, the Khan Academy 300pg psych/soc doc, and UWorld for the first 60 days. I study about 8+hrs a day and take one day off a week. I have been making good progress, making a bunch of anki cards, and I'm getting in the low/mid 70s on UWorld so far. But at this point I am really starting to burn out. It feels like every day I am taking in so much information and now I'm saturated so it's all just starting to bleed together.

I have also started the CARS boot camp, so I am progressively doing more CARS passages each week.

Should I pump the breaks on how much I am doing each day, or should I double down on one day so that I can have two days off? IDK I just don't want to feel like this when it comes time to start doing my full length test regiment.

My test date is Aug 17th and my AAMC material and full length testing schedules starts on July 19th, approximately 1 month before test day.

What is the Nymeria 100 study plan?

Which CARS boot camp are you taking?

What are you doing about exercise and sleep?

It is a 100 day study plan that you can find linked at the top of this forum. It is with Mcatjelly and Sn2'd study scheduel

I am doing Testing Solutions CARS bootcamp which you can also find here on SND

I have been going to the gym 3/4 days a week and getting 6.5-7.5 hours of sleep

Switch to 100-page Khan P/S doc and supplement with UWorld P/S + explanations. Also, in my opinion, Kaplan is more accessible (less dense, more to-the-point) than TBR; use Kaplan or EK if you need a break from TBR's dense, detailed content.

It sounds like you're overloading on resources. What was more than adequate for me was: Kaplan books + 100-page P/S KA → UWorld QBanks + explanations → AAMC section banks → NS practice exams → AAMC practice exams.

I never had a problem with CARS, so I can't comment on that aspect of MCAT prep.

Wow ya I really should have just went with the 100-page Khan P/S it is much less dense. I will immediately switch to that. I think I will kaplan a try from some of my next physics and general chem subjects.
