STATE LICENSE: to keep or not?

So, as someone about to go back to residency, should I maintain my state medical licenses? Even if I do not plan on returning to the state? Just trying to avoid any future hassle, also, is there a sort if "inactive" status you can request?

I would maintain it, unless it was really expensive. Many states have an "inactive" status that is cheaper- not all states have this.

Agree with michaelrack. If you can put your license on an inactive status, do it. If it's not a financial hardship, keep it active.
