Hi,

I recently changed jobs and gave up my previous hospital privileges as I would no longer be going there ( provisional privileges as I was not an employee but just an affiliate in case I needed to use do cases there).
On state licensing credentialing attestation forms, there is a question that always asks has your other Healthcare affiliation or clinical privileges been denied, suspended, voluntarily or involuntarily resigned or relinquished.
In my case, this hospital is stating the only option they can document under my file is voluntary resignation as their online system only has this option and not nonrenewal. They say it's all in good standing so should not be an issue.
Would this be considered a YES to that question?

Im not a lawyer and would consult one if you are concerned, but personally I think I would feel comfortable knowing I just didn't renew and marking "no" (or literally everyone would have to mark yes and I don't think that is the intent)

Yah I have no concerns at all. The hospital just marked it as an automatic voluntary resignation because I didn't renew and pay the dues. All in good standing on their records and not flagged.
