Hey everyone,

If I moved to a different state now right before I applied, could I declare my state of residency in that state? like let's say california for example 😉 or do i have to wait and live there for at least half a year/ a year before I can? I'm thinking it's probably the latter, but could I use that to my advantage somehow if I am applying to CA schools? Like can I hold off submitting my app until like July and I would have lived in CA for like a month?

Hah i feel like this is a stupid question/idea but it would be wonderful if I could make it work somehow 🙂

Lemme know your thoughts!

Only true state school in California is UCLA. I believe it takes at least a year to establish your residency.

That would be lying, because you aren't a California resident 🙂
