So I am currently finishing up school here in Idaho, and I know that I could claim Idaho as my state of residency because I have lived here consistently for over 2 years and have my vehicle registered here and everything. However I am from Arizona and still have my Arizona license. Should I claim Arizona as my state of resident or should I claim Idaho. I know that schools out west are more accepting to Idaho residents because Idaho does not have any dental schools. What do you guys think is best for me to do?

Ask both schools for their residency requirements and documents you'd need to prove your residency. Then decide from there. Like the poster above me said though, I'd try to claim AZ residency

So both the schools in AZ, ASDOH and MWU, are private schools and they do not have an in-state tuition difference.
Some of the schools out west that I am planning on applying to include: WU, OHSU, MWU AZ, Roseman, possibly UOP, Creighton, and possibly Loma Linda. The schools farther East that I plan on applying to include: Louisville KY, LECOM, NOVA, TUFTS, Detroit Mercy, Case Western, and Meharry.
I know that University of Utah gives preference to Idaho residents over AZ if I do decide to apply there.

Some of my stats:
3.68 GPA
sGPA- not sure yet but it is very similar
21AA 22TS 21PAT
100+ shadowing hours
500+ volunteer hours

This isn't what you asked, @AZborn , but I sense that cost is something you're interested in minimizing. I believe you have great stats and could get into some cheaper, OOS-Friendly state schools near home/AZ. UNLV comes to mind- do they recognize WICHE? Perhaps they'd be a good choice.
