My friends at the White House sent me an early copy of tomorrow's speech. I thought I'd share the highlights:

My fellow Americans; A fair economy based on fair play giving everyone a fair chance with an emphasis on fairness; rich people, taxes, more government, fair, fairness, more spending, more stimulus, fair share, fair playing field, must address our growing debt with fairness; together we can change America, more spending more money fairly, give people a fair chance, jobs here with fair pay, fair share of taxes; put people back to work, those unfair rich bastards, uneven playing field, government investment, a changing economy for the future... oh, I killed Bin Laden btw... fair, fairness, fair, fair share; stimulus programs to get our people working and having a fair chance at the American dream; create jobs, rich bastards aren't fair, fair chance, tax the rich bastards, play fair, jobs fare; grow a fair economy with green energy and investment for tomorrow, jobs for the future, main street, wall street, rich bastards; fair, fair, fair, change takes time, it will not be easy... and closes muttering something negative about having 3 ex-wives and mormons.

A lot of new fresh ideas here that I think deserve consideration from both sides of the aisle.

I don't envy his postition or any position in our broken bureacratic government. Its a job where you can't succeed and are doomed for failure no matter your strategy.

And half of the most powerful people in the country want to see you fail, will do anything to make sure you fail, and if you don't fail, they'll make it sound like you did. It's alwAys worked that way.

Rah, Rah!! We're back!!!! WooHoo!!!!!!!....... and let me remind you again; I killed Bin Laden!!!!

I confess, I did not watch it. Or whoever did the GOP rebuttal.

Obama wasn't worth watching unless you wanted to hear him lay out his campaign platform.

However - Mitch Daniels was excellent.

I just watched it out of comic relief. I mean, he didn't even mention that sob Jon Corzine and M(other) F(udgin) global and how he stole 1.5 billion dollars from investors. I mean, Corzine is a criminal who belongs in jail next to bubba.

Now in 2012 he is against bailouts, but not in 2008 with TARP. This guy is a worse flip flopper than Romney.

I'm just voting Ron Paul.

I don't agree with all of Obama's policies; however, I think a lot of people in politics could learn from his demeanor and appeal to logic. I like to watch the (R) debates and listen for logical fallacies - it's almost comical. The sad thing is that most people will accept any argument that is for their flavor of politics rather than thinking critically about the rigor of the argument.

I was watching 'Morning Joe' a few day ago where they had some author on (I forget his name). He pointed out an obvious point that I don't hear spoken about very much in media. His feelings were that one of the greater dangers to our country is that so much of our population is misinformed. He was not saying the typical "if you don't think the way I think you're misinformed". He was speaking about peoples knowledge of history, the world (even beyond the US), and what things are actually true vs fabricated.

To play both sides; a good example of this was when I heard Nancy Pelosi conflate extending tax cuts with spending money. It doesn't matter if you're left or right to know these are two different things. Yet, partisans might let it slip past because they may think rates should be elevated.

I guess to sum it all up: I think our country would be better if we were sensitive to own conformational bias and required more rigorous political debates instead of easy-to-remember-two- liners.

EDIT: Maybe a real time fact checker too!

You know, this stupidity was figured out 70 years ago by Mr. Joe Gerbels[not sure if spelled correctly] who said if you repeat a lie enough times people will believe it.
