Hey Everyone,
Does anyone know how much it increases your chances of acceptance if you are a state resident of the schools you are applying to? Specifically in NY?
Also, how do you know your official residency? This may sound ridiculous but I go to school in Florida and receive in-state tuition as my father lives here, however my mother lives in NY and I have a NY license. I'm applying to NY and FL med schools, I just don't know which state to chose as a resident aka which state it would matter more in. Anybody have a clue??
Thanks.
