I heard read that some states have restricted the number of weeks of clinical rotations an international medical student may do outside their university. For example New york has a limit of 12 weeks. If a student does more than 12 weeks outside their school then they may never work in new york. I have also read that California limits at 16 weeks.
Does anyone know of a site where i may view the licensure restrictions for each state? I have looked at the FSMB, but am unable to find specific restrictions for clinical rotations.
