Does a statistics class as a part of the psychology department fulfill the requirement for statistics for PT school? Or do i need to take statistics as it is offered in math departments? I took quantitative methods as a psyc course which involved statistics but was not certain if this counted.

Thanks for any feedback.

Hi!

Honestly that all depends on the school. Check PTCAS and see if the schools you are applying to have any stipulations regarding Stats. I know a math stat class is always taken though. Hope this helps.

My stats class was a PSY course too technically. From what I have seen/looked into it is fine with every school (but it doesn't hurt to double check). Hope this helps!
