For all you guys who took the DATs, do you guys think that an extra class of statistics is needed other than intro to stats, which is very general....simple probabilities, z-score, normal curves....or should I take a probability course?
no a statistics course isn't necessary at all. just take some practice exams, see what kind of questions are on it, and learn the formulas. there are only very basic questions (average, mean, median, BASIC probability statistics). none of the z score and normal curves weirdness. why waste a whole semester on something you can learn in a day or two reading the kaplan book? i took a lower level and an upper level stats course and i didnt feel any more prepared for the DAT.
