I found some really interesting information regarding how many general dentists there are in comparisons to other states and a bunch of other stuff. I thought it would be interesting for everyone to see.

Ironically I was considering moving to Arizona if I finished dental school. Seems like other people had the same idea too.

North Carolina sounds nice though :D.

As a state NC lacks dentists. But don't let those statistics fool you. Charlotte. Raleigh, and Greensboro are full of dentists.
 
^ True that. I'm living in the rural eastern NC county that's immediately bordered by the 4-5 dentist-less counties. I have to drive to an hour Virginia to go to a real mall, lol. But it's not a bad place to live and I wouldn't mind practicing 30-40 minutes outside a city.
 
hmmm... I thought NY was one of the most saturated states... apparently not?
