My school offers two levels of statistics and I'm not sure which one I should take.
1. Statistics (100 Level) - No pre-reqs.
Introduction to descriptive statistics and statistical inference. Topics include: measures of location and variability, graphical displays, probability, normal distribution, sampling, estimation and hypothesis testing.
and
2. Statistical Inference (200 Level) - Has calc as a pre-req, already taken.
A comprehensive introduction to descriptive statistics and the essential ideas of probability. Students will study foundations of classical parametric inference: point estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing and common statistical techniques including simple regression and correlation. Examples will be drawn from a variety of social and natural sciences.
Will the 100 level satisfy the requirement for pharmacy schools? I am currently enrolled in the 200 level course for next semester, but I wanted to know if the 100 level course would fill the requirement as well so I can take that instead.
