My school offers two levels of statistics and I'm not sure which one I should take.

1. Statistics (100 Level) - No pre-reqs.
Introduction to descriptive statistics and statistical inference. Topics include: measures of location and variability, graphical displays, probability, normal distribution, sampling, estimation and hypothesis testing.

and

2. Statistical Inference (200 Level) - Has calc as a pre-req, already taken.
A comprehensive introduction to descriptive statistics and the essential ideas of probability. Students will study foundations of classical parametric inference: point estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing and common statistical techniques including simple regression and correlation. Examples will be drawn from a variety of social and natural sciences.

Will the 100 level satisfy the requirement for pharmacy schools? I am currently enrolled in the 200 level course for next semester, but I wanted to know if the 100 level course would fill the requirement as well so I can take that instead.

Check with the pharmacy schools that you are interested in applying at. I would call the admissions office. Also, some school's will offer course equivalencies on their website. For example, here's a website that offers course equivalencies for USC pharmacy school. http://pharmacyschool.usc.edu/programs/pharmd/pharmdprogram/admission/equivalencies/

Hope it helps!

In order to evaluate clinical literature (which is required in pharmacy school), you will need to know the material in the 200 level program. Pharmacy school may cover the material, or they may have expected you to learn it in undergrad. I would take the 200 level class.

I took a course that sounds more like the 100-level...did not involve calculus and it was fine for USC (when my prereqs were evaluated). Check the school websites to be certain.
