I was wondering if any one has any clue that what happens to your California board status if u retake your Part I to improve your score . And worst comes 🙁 if u fail then what ???????? R u still eligible for the restorative technique exam since u r already in the que .

I have tried asking the board but they r not able to understand my question also 🙁 . So Please ............... if any one can answer that for me .

This is a Gr8 forum .I am a regular reader of this site though not a very active correspondent. Some of the advises and questions r amazing .This forum confirms the fact that there is still a lot of goodness in this world .
I do plan to retake my boards this july .

All the best to all the people taking their exam in july . :luck:

OOOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR ALL THE MISTAKES !!!!!!!! 😕

Certain Boards accept History of NBDE scores for the purpose of licensing. It means if you have taken Part 1 / 2 twice, to improve score and failed/scored lower than before, then you can ask National Testing Service to provide a History of NBDE Scores. It costs $20. The above information resulted from my discussion with National Testing Service-Score Department in April 2005.

My advice would be to call both CA Dental Board & National Testing Service before one proceeds with retaking Part 1/2.

Hey guys,
Have been following the restorative exam thread and i was wondering,
1]what degree or status do u get after completion of the restorative technique exam
2]Is it recognised by the other states?
3]Is the pay scale similar to that after DDS or DMD?
Can anybody help?
