It is possible that in the near future mesenchymal stem cells will be able to differentiate into tendons, cartilage etc. We will probably see more biological treatment for ortho conditions instead of mechanical ones. How do you guys foresee this effecting your practices in the future. Do you guys foresee the use of stem cells maybe putting some orthopods out of business?
 
Did BMP put orthopods out of business? Nope. Stem cells won't either. It doesn't matter if that the tissue is autologous, cadaveric or grown in a test tube, someone has to put it in. Same goes for any other biologic, device, or combination product developed in the future.
