Job satisfaction in a practice owned by PE firms

For those in practices owned by PE firms, how is your job satisfaction? Were there any contract negotiations or certain guarantees that helped improve satisfaction?

It seems that any information I receive about PE firms basically sound incredibly disadvantageous for young surgeons. Just wondering if this is a fair generalization or if it really is a case-by-case thing. If it's the latter, what makes it favorable over say hospital-employed or traditional physician-owned private practice?

Would be great to get advice from people who have switched jobs and had positions in multiple settings.
