Does anyone know the current national average for Step 1 and/or Step 2 or a website that has this data?

Furthermore, what is the scale for the Step exams? From what to what and where does it become like MCAT where no one really scores that score? I know there are people out there with 40s on the MCAT, but if you look at the AAMC stat reports, there are very few people on that end of the bell....also anyone know what step scores are the norm for being matched to the various residencies?

Don't you think that this is a wrong side to ask questions regarding this? Pre-allo students, what do they know about USMLE??

You'd probably get a better response on the allo board. I haven't taken the boards yet (I'm ms-2) but my understanding of step 1 is that the national average is usually around 215, I think this year its around 217. 180 something is passing. I don't have a clue about step 2 scoring.

Serioulsy, if you are a pre-med and your worried about boards before you even get into med school you need to re-focus your concerns.

First, concentrate on getting into med school ... believe me, there will be plenty of time to worry about boards once you get there.
