My school is suggesting/requiring me to take a Step 1 review program before I retake the exam, and I am considering the PASS Program South in Florida. Anyone heard anything about it and how it compares to Falcon or PASS in Illinois?

I dont know much about falcon apart from goljan teaches path for them??
but PASS is amazing for teaching u the big pictures and they give you a lot of techniques how to tame the beast which other courses lack I would say!
I wouldnt go to south though...the instructor is a bit annoying.
how am I able to compare them? well, I watched video lectures of both instructors when they worked together and the south instructor is always shouting, for god's sake, we get it even if you talk with your normal voice or speak just loudly, but plz dont shout!
having said that, the other instructor shouts a lot as well but for some reason he is not as annoying and more entertaining.
but in summary, PASS is definitely underrated and in my opinion better than kaplan or DIT!

I am going to be taking the PASS Program after failing Step 1 for the first (and last) time. I opted to go with the PASS Program South vs Illinois mainly because the class size is smaller and its closer to where I go to school.
Besides the fact that the Florida instructor has a tendency to shout - are the programs the same? Do they get similar results? I ask because there is a thread floating around that the PASS Program South is a "scam" and a total waste of money vs the more established Illinois one, so you can imagine my concern. I know that this may only be the opinion of one angry person who just didn't do well, but I don't want to take any chances...
Any detailed info you could offer would be great. Thanks.

and about the "scam" comments, I dont know what that individual did not get what he was expecting but I would ignore it. I first watched the 2003? pass program video lectures (only dr francis then) and I was speechless. I was so excited that I tried to get hold of more recent video lectures and got the 2009 ones (by dr francis and dr wolf) and was happy to see they have developed their program and concepts further and its just amazing.
sidenote: liked it so much that I tried to get my gf to watch it as well, she wasnt willing to put up with an american accent, her loss
